Nothing more wonderful than meditating on the only Redeemer of man, Christ Jesus the Lord.

Sons of the Cross – As the winds of the Arab Spring turn into an Islamic Hurricane, R. Scott Clark reveals some of the true focus of the anger.  He also explains how unknowingly evangelistic this can be.

The Leniency of the Lord – Let this short but rich article by R.W. Glenn remind you of how patient God is with you and why. (HT: Tim Challies)

Jesus the Ecumenical Separatist – When do you unite with fellow Christians in a cause and when do you keep a healthy distance?  David Murray offers much practical wisdom and concludes by turning our eyes to the Jesus who cleansed temples and ate with sinners.

More Than Conquerors – Sometimes the preaching of a passage that is clearly about Christ can still reveal Him in surprising and humbling ways.  After showing earlier this week how Romans 8:31-39 was misused, you would be very blessed in listening to Ted Donnelly preach Christ crucified from it.

Our Fascination with Newness – As the iPhone 5 hits the market, please take 2 minutes and 22 seconds of your precious time to listen to John Piper tell us why we need to be extremely careful not to let technology be the “undoing of our affections for Christ and our devotion to prayer and His Word.”

I love the one “Jesus – the Ecumenical separatist.” A perfect capture of both Christ and what we are called to.
