Just tune in and listen to why you might want to tune in and listen in a whole different way this coming Sunday!

Consider this article as a frightening demonstration of the religious connotations of football that you discussed in the podcast: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/acts-of-faith/wp/2018/02/02/for-tom-brady-football-has-become-religion-no-really/?utm_term=.f46b136d92a5

In some ways, this Sunday will be an evangelistic endeavor for TB12. For an Indianapolis Colts fan and a Christian – this is horrifying.

One can also think of a recent NFL commercial in which “He’s Got the World In His Hands” was used as a tribute to highlight the star quarterbacks of the league.

Yes, that is disconcerting. Brady makes for quite a limited messiah.

Also sad to see many churches “baptizing” all of this by promoting Football Sunday.
