3GT Episode 150: Dort on Perseverance

At a recent conference,  the RPTS faculty addressed the doctrines of grace known as TULIP that came out of the Synod of Dort. So the guys start asking the prof about his talk on the perseverance of the saints. Well, they eventually get to it after they figure out who pays the greater price in hearing the others talk!

A brief history of Dort, the definition of perseverance, and its difference from the teaching "once saved, always saved" is first delineated. Then its Biblical foundations are discussed. Special attention is given to this doctrine's application to pastoral ministry. Final encouragements regarding the means the Lord has given us to persevere wrap the episode up.

So tune in and join the theologizing. And if you have listened to all the previous episodes of 3GT and now this one, you certainly have persevered as we reach the CL (those are Roman numerals) episode!
