    Hello James,

I would like to encourage you to come to Canada (Ontario) sometime. Could we chat by email sometime? I am inspired by your posts.

I just read your article “An Up-Front Discussion; the Best Seats in Worship” on the Aquila Report. May I have your permission to print that as a bulletin insert for my congregation? Full credit to you, of course.

I found your comments, by chance, and would be interested in corresponding with your privately. I am the direct descendant of Thomas Smith (Smith Family Farm), and am currently living in Louisville. I have been able to go to Bloomington once since moving here, to the local genealogy library, but would love to correspond with a family member that could provide me information so I can return to Bloomington better prepared to have a greater appreciate of the city and our family’s role in it.

    Best regards,

    April Hillquist

    Hi James,

I am another descendant of James Faris of Bloomington. My grandfather was John Jay Faris, his father was Jay Faris, and his father was Isaiah Faris, who was one of James’ sons. I found your post about Faris Way in Bloomington the other day as I was doing research on the Faris family. I live in the Cincinnati area, so not too far from you! (And I attended graduate school in Bloomington, which was a neat experience). Anyway, just wanted to say hi.
