He Sees All

If you haven’t watched the 3 minute video released by Live Action earlier this week, take the time and do so (http://liveaction.org/abortioncorporation/).  It reveals empirically yet another aspect of Planned Parenthood’s deliberate efforts to deceive the public about what it does.  I am not sure that Planned Parenthood actually deceives that many people, but they do try to provide some type of moral cover for those who would support their horrific efforts to blot out life in its most vulnerable stages.  The video shows leaders and supporters of Planned Parenthood defending the organization based on the fact that it provides many “essential services” for women and children other than abortions - services such as mammograms, prenatal care, birth control, etc.  We’ve known for years that the mammogram claim is bogus given that their clinics do not have the necessary equipment.  Live Action has now shown that the claim to provide prenatal care is equally false.  Reporters simply called or showed up at Planned Parenthood affiliates all over the country to test the claim that a woman could get prenatal care.  After contacting nearly 100 Planned Parenthood clinics, they found only five that actually said they provided any prenatal services.  In fact, several of the representatives admitted that calling the organization “Planned Parenthood” was a bit “deceptive.” Given that their real purpose seems to be doing all that they can to prevent parenthood, I would agree.

Psalm 94 reminds us how God thinks about these matters.

They slay the widow and the stranger, And murder the fatherless. 7 Yet they say, "The LORD does not see, Nor does the God of Jacob understand."  8 Understand, you senseless among the people; And _you _fools, when will you be wise?  9 He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see?  10 He who instructs the nations, shall He not correct, He who teaches man knowledge?  11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man, That they _are _futile.

God sees what those at Planned Parenthood and their accomplices do not want us to see.  He knows and He will answer.  But, of course, He sees all of our sins as well – yours and mine.  Thank God that He sent His Son to earth to take on human nature and to suffer as a murderer and a liar – not because He was guilty but because His people were.  Only in Jesus do we find healing for depraved individuals and depraved societies.

As we remember the passing of another year of Roe v. Wade, may we cry out to the One Who Sees All and Hears All for eyes to see and ears to hear the call of His gospel.

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)
