Welcome to the New Look of Gentle Reformation!

Those of you coming to the Gentle Reformation blog today may notice a new look. Just three brief remarks to explain, followed by a short appeal to our faithful readers at the end.

  1. On our former hosting site, we were facing increasing attacks from hackers combined with a slower loading speed. Our behind-the-scenes tech consultant, Zachary Blackwood, recommended going to a Ghost hosting site that is dedicated solely to blogging and offers its own tech support. We think you will find your experience at the new Gentle Reformation gives you a cleaner look, faster uploads, and greater dependability. So a shout out to Zachary for doing all the hard work to move us to our new host!
  2. You should find our posts easier to survey, with the most recent article featured at the top with earlier posts in three columns down the page. We are still working on linking older articles with their appropriate author, as that feature did not transfer over. We should have that completed in the near future.
  3. One feature you will notice missing is the ability to comment. Though we love hearing from our readers, we want to go with the greater speed and cleaner look this gives the site. However, you can still comment on any article on social media such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.

Now for the appeal. Though we provide Gentle Reformation voluntarily and will continue to do so, these changes and a few other things we would like to do to improve the blog and the 3GT podcast come with a cost. If you would like to help us, please consider going to our Patreon account and making a donation. (Note that gifts are not tax-deductible, as the opinions expressed on the blog are those of the author and not meant to represent the views of any church or ministry that the author serves.)

Thank you for continuing to stop by Gentle Reformation!
