The Wonder of God's Steadfast Love

Many of the writers on Gentle Reformation are at the RPCNA meetings of Synod this week. One of our GenRef Gents, Pastor Jared Olivetti, preached the devotional service that began yesterday's meeting on Psalm 18, especially verses 49-50.

For this I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations,
and sing to your name.
Great salvation he brings to his king,
and shows steadfast love to his anointed,
to David and his offspring forever.

What a rich message we heard! He not only opened up the psalm itself in showing that Christ is the one truly singing the words above, but used Trinitarian theology, the doctrine of the simplicity of God, and the connectivity of the following psalms to do so. As I listened, I was overwhelmed with wonder at the love the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit share and how that love overflows to his people. You will be blessed greatly by listening to it below.
