3GT Episode 139: The State of the Seminary

The month of July brings anniversaries of all varieties. Wedding, ordination, and even our nation's anniversary to name a few (which the 3GTers do). But it also marks one year in office for Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary President Barry York. So like two press correspondents, Scott and Kyle interview him about the state of affairs at the seminary.

Scott and Kyle begin easy by asking Barry about the joys of working at RPTS. But then they press him a bit. They want to know how RPTS will maintain theological integrity when the history of seminaries show they usually go liberal. They then draw out other topics from the prez, such as professor and staff transitions, the impact of distance learning, and the connection of the seminary with local churches. Kyle ends the show with a surprise "demand" being asked of a certain other president.
