The King before Whom the Queen Bowed

This week in the RPTS Chapel service, Dr. David Whitla delivered a powerful sermon on Psalm 2. What made it so special?

A British subject, he referenced the recent death of his ruler, Queen Elizabeth II, and masterfully wove her story into his message.

A professor of church history, he highlighted the significance of Queen Elizabeth lying in state at St. Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Most importantly, as a preacher, David proclaimed the death, resurrection, and ascension of Christ as Lord over all. Jesus is the true King and heir of the nations of the earth.
