3GT Episode 334: Courage!

With one guy gone putting away bad guys, Kyle runs to the rescue from his children’s track meet to record this episode of Three Guys Theologizing. After he catches his breath and explains the joy of watching his children in track and field, Barry interviews him regarding the topic of courage.

For Pastor Borg had recently spoken on this topic at a Presbytery youth retreat. He explains that he chose this topic to address the youth because, like fish in a river, the currents of our modern world will sweep them away unless they are equipped to swim upstream. He defines biblical courage as "the fruit of faith whereby a person confidently obeys God despite real or perceived dangers." Kyle highlights ways that fear can diminish our courage, using the life of Peter to illustrate it. He also shares biblical ways that our courage can be strengthened, particularly by developing a greater fear of the Lord.

Not only the church's youth need fresh measures of boldness; all of God’s people do. So, listen to this episode of 3GT as it may put more courage into your soul!
