Nahum writes of God’s avenging wrath poured out on Nineveh. Sometimes people want to pit God in the OT against Jesus in the NT claiming that God in the OT is full of wrath and Jesus in the NT is full of love. But God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—is full of wrath, and also full of love.
