My Beloved is Mine and I am His from Song of Solomon + Is it needed?

This week we will consider My Beloved is Mind and I am His and Keep Loving from Solomon's Song of Songs. At Springs Reformed Church we distribute a weekly guide running from the Lord's Day to Saturday with Monday-Wednesday reviewing the sermons that were preached the Lord's Day at the start of the week and Thursday-Saturday previewing the sermons that will be preached the coming Lord's Day.

However, for the posts here I am linking to the guide from Thursday to Wednesday so that all are aimed at the Lord's Day as the peak of the 7-day rhythm as seen in the image above. The Lord's Day post includes links to the sermons.

Thursday Song of Solomon 1:1-4—Your Love is Better than Wine
Friday Song of Solomon 1:5-11—You Whom I Love
Saturday Song of Solomon 1:12-17—You Are Beautiful, My Love
Lord’s Day
Monday Ephesians 5:22-33—A Profound Mystery
Tuesday Romans 5:6–11—Loved When Unlovely
Wednesday Revelation 2:1–7—Keep on Loving

If you find it useful to use these in your household/family worship, consider asking your pastor to speak to me about him developing something similar in your congregation.

Thoughts for Pastors:

Is Worship Connected (or something similar) needed?

In my DMin dissertation, I reviewed the many resources already available to the church regarding family worship, helping Christians take in and live out the preached Word, Sabbath-keeping, and similar matters. Even with a myriad of resources on these topics available, there does not appear to be much available to connect all these things in a tool that the local pastor can use to help his congregation.

The aim of my DMin project (and perhaps someday a book-ask and I'll send you my work to date), and the production and use of such a household worship guide, does not intend to minimize the value of these mentioned resources or criticize their scope. However, my DMin project and it's ongoing output is an attempt to continue the effort that I have made in my pastoral ministry at preparing a weekly household worship guide and also to formulate a method for busy pastors to do the same in their ministry.

Since I am doing it every week, at least from my perspective, it is needed.
